Henny Latul is a Landscape Painter and Digital Art maker.

Her subdued landscapes are personal memories and emotions that go beyond a portrayal of nature.

In her search for silence she uses her landscapes as a metaphor for her inner world. By her specific use of light and dark, she manages to convey a feeling of vulnerability. By sharing these feelings she creates the opportunity for the viewer to connect and make his own interpretation.

In addition to her paintings she creates digital landscapes, by  merging images of her paintings and landscape photography to create her mysterious dreamscapes.

Henny Latul studied Textile Art at the Teacher Training College and Fashion Design at the Utrecht Academy of Fine Arts. After her studies she worked as a Fashion Designer for several Fashion Brands and Retail Companies.

Gradually she no longer finds satisfaction in her work as a designer due to the limitation of creative freedom in the fashion Industry. In 2012 she therefore starts drawing and painting again. In 2016 she cuts all ties with the fashion Industry and decides to devote herself full-time to painting.
